Following this weekend's Jimmy Wales divorce/dating story on Valleywag (I'm consciously not linking to the pieces, as they're pretty despicable), a lot of people are starting to question the importance of celebrity gossip for the web2.0 business community. Arrington's commentary, is poignant, and brings forward the question of when gossip will claim its first undeserving victim for business.
